We're thrilled to announce that we've been awarded the National Science Foundation (NSF) Smart Health and Biomedical Research in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Data Science award for Comprehensive Tissue Disease Diagnosis Using a Multimodal Robotic System. This is a 4-year collaborative project across UCR (Co-PIs Dr. Chen Li and Dr. Salman Asif), UCSD (PI Dr. Sheng Xu), and City of Hope (PI Dr. Mustafa Raoof).

This award will fund our collaborative research with City of Hope (Dr. Behnam Badie) and Loma Linda University (Dr. Brenda Bartnik-Olson and Dr. Paggie Kim) from 2023 to 2026. ISMR 2022

The 2022 International Symposium on Medical Robotics (ISMR) will be hosted on the campus of Georgia Tech from April 6-8, 2022, with workshops and tutorials to be held on April 6. ISMR will feature keynotes/semi-plenary talks/workshops in addition to oral/poster presentations of original research. The paper submission deadline is December 8, 2021 and more details will be forthcoming soon on the ISMR website: http://ismr.gatech.edu. ISMR 2022 is planned to be an in-person event only.
